GovRAMP Framework Harmonization Working Group

Collaborating with government and industry leaders to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity developments and advance framework harmonization.

About the Working Group

The GovRAMP Framework Harmonization Working Group provides a structured space for public- and private-sector members to engage with GovRAMP experts and examine current events, evolving requirements, and cross-framework alignment efforts.

These Working Group sessions are designed to:

  • Give GovRAMP direct visibility into emerging topics, shared challenges, and trends affecting agencies, providers, and assessors
  • Provide an open forum where all stakeholders have equal access to timely updates and a platform to share perspectives, raise questions, and contribute insights

GovRAMP’s Framework Harmonization Working Group focuses on supporting a shared understanding of how new developments across the ecosystem influence secure cloud adoption and implementation.

Current Focus Area

Framework Harmonization

  • Ongoing review of policy changes, standards updates, and cybersecurity news shaping the public-sector landscape
  • Discussion of how these developments relate to harmonization efforts across state, local, education, and federal frameworks

How We’ll Work Together

GovRAMP facilitates discussion and provides a neutral, transparent space for contributors to share insights and explore implications of emerging developments. While GovRAMP hosts and supports these sessions, the direction is shaped by participant input and real-time needs across the community.
